Muğla Milas-Bodrum Airport is an international airport that provides air transportation to Bodrum and its surroundings from Aegean Region’s attractions. The airport opened in 1997, takes its name from Milas and Bodrum, which is two important cities of Karya. Airport is operated by TAV Airports, and the business right continues until December 2037.

Size and Capacity

Airport started to serve with a small terminal opened in 1997. An external lines terminal built with 14686 m2 closed area in 30 April 1998 to respond to increasing passenger demand.

In 2012, 5,000,000 passengers/year capacity, 95.683 m2 closed area with built-in model, a new outdoor lines terminal building was opened to service. From this date, the old outer lines were converted to the terminal internal lines terminal, the 1997 construction terminal was completely disassembled.

There are two tracks at the airport. Parking capacity 208 in front parking and a total of 558 vehicles in the rear parking area.

In June 2024, 639 thousand 99 passengers served at the airport, total of 1 million 574 thousand 123 passengers in the first six months of 2024.
